Founded in 1954, Kovinarska Krsko quickly became a pioneer, excelling in the production of heavy industrial equipment, metal constructions, and asphalt plants.
In 1954, local craftsmen, united by a common vision, formed a cooperative. They pooled their resources and started working together. This marked the official birth of our company.
Initially we produced metal constructions, gas and oil pipelines, equipment for ships etc. But as the years passed and project after project was completed, the company continued to grow, along with the wide variety of different products and services.
In 1964, a decade after establishing the company, we moved into a new, larger headquarters. This move not only symbolized their growth but also laid the foundation for future successes.
Today, we take pride in the exceptional operational level of our asphalt plant. Furthermore, drawing upon this accumulated experience, we ventured into innovation, engineering a diverse range of products that have found widespread applications across multiple industries, including asphalt, metal, and glass.
We identified an opportunity in the production of asphalt plants and recognized our potential.
In 1969, we reached out to Wibau Company in Germany and arranged for our team to receive specialized training. This collaboration marked the beginning of our journey in asphalt plant production. In the early stages, we successfully started manufacturing key components. By the end of 1969, we had made and assembled our first fully operational asphalt plant, producing 50 tons per hour.
Today, we operate in a 10,000 m² facility. At our facilities, we are capable of engineering and producing everything ourselves to the latest standards and the highest level of quality.
Managing every stage of the process, from material storage, precise laser cutting, bending, welding, and painting, to our in-house construction assembly that ultimately brings it all together.
